Description:

Welcome to the Green Team! The Green Team is the altered version of the ride. The presentation is the same, but the intensity is much lower, and family friendly, while still being loads of fun. In the old version of Mission: Space (Also the Orange Team) the ride capsules would tilt to the left and right while also spinning the riders in a centrifuge to subject them to twice the force of gravity during the take-off and landing sequences. The Green version of the ride does NOT spin you in a centrifuge and only tilts your capsule in different directions.

Ride Tips:

Once again, I assure you that the Green Team is very safe to ride, and is also very fun for smaller children. Any child that is old enough to meet the height requirement posted for Mission: Space-Green Team should definitely enjoy the experience. I still only recommend the Orange Team for those people who are long-time thrill seakers. However, if you are claustrophobic, I still recommend you avoid the attraction completely.

Wait Times:

There are now two different lines for each version of the ride. Because of the debut of the safer, less intense "green team" version of the ride, Mission: SPACE has surged in popularity, and the Green line is usually longer than the Orange line. Fastpass is still available. The same Fastpass ticket can get you into either version of the attraction. A Disney Cast member will ask you which verison you want to experience at the enterance to the pre-show room, if you use a fastpass.
